Routine maintenance and maintenance knowledge of measuring instruments
Measuring instruments are high-precision equipment. Correct daily maintenance and upkeep are not only related to measurement accuracy, but also directly affect the service life of the equipment.
environmental control
Precision measuring instruments should be used and stored in an environment with constant temperature and humidity. It is recommended that the ambient temperature is 20±2℃ and the humidity is controlled between 45% and 65%. Avoid direct sunlight, close to air conditioning outlets, or locations with vibration sources.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Clean work surfaces and rails with a clean soft cloth after daily use
- Use special lens paper to clean the optical lens and avoid touching it with your hands.
- Clean the grating ruler regularly to prevent oil and dust from affecting positioning accuracy
- The transmission mechanism and guide rails should be filled with lubricating oil regularly
Instructions for use
- Wait 10-15 minutes after turning on the device, and then measure again after the device is stable.
- Use standard parts for calibration before measurement
- Avoid measuring workpieces that are too heavy or too large (beyond the equipment’s load-bearing range)
Regular calibration
It is recommended to perform equipment accuracy calibration at least once a year, and have professional technicians use standard measuring blocks or standard parts for calibration verification. Calibration records should be properly kept as a basis for quality traceability.
