The difference between flash tester and traditional two-dimensional measuring instrument
The flash tester (also known as the one-button measuring instrument) is a new type of image measurement equipment that has developed rapidly in recent years. It is fundamentally different from the traditional two-dimensional image measuring instrument in terms of working principle and measurement method.
The difference in working principle
Traditional two-dimensional image measuring instruments need to move the workbench, record the position through the grating scale displacement sensor, and collect the workpiece contour data point by point. The flash tester uses a telecentric lens with a large field of view to image the complete outline of the workpiece onto a high-resolution CCD camera at one time, and can measure all dimensions instantly through the software without moving the workbench.
The difference in measurement efficiency
The biggest advantage of the flash tester is the measurement speed. It may take several minutes for a traditional two-dimensional measuring instrument to measure a workpiece, but a flash measuring instrument can complete the measurement of all dimensions in just a few seconds, increasing the efficiency by dozens of times. It is especially suitable for rapid inspection of large quantities of small precision parts.
Applicable scenarios
The flash tester is suitable for rapid inspection of large quantities of small precision parts, such as electronic product parts, precision stamping parts, connectors, etc. Traditional two-dimensional image measuring instruments are more suitable for high-precision measurement of complex workpieces.
